We are committed to protecting our planet and its diversity, so we have decided to become climate neutral. For us, this is the logical step to advance our commitment to sustainability. We only have one earth – let’s protect it.
We measured our CO₂ footprint for the year 2020 and compensated it. Planetly supports us in taking the right measures to reduce our CO₂ emissions and helps us to balance out unavoidable emissions.
We have already implemented some important environmental projects:
All German sites purchase climate-neutral electricity
PV modules are installed on our roofs at the Jettingen site, enabling us to generate around 70% of the factory's annual electricity requirements
Most of our suppliers are located within a radius of 50 km
We have completely converted our factory premises to LED lighting
We rely on sustainable materials in the production of our games/puzzles and are FSC® certified
We have already been separating our waste for a long time

Deforestation is the second leading cause of climate change after the burning of fossil fuels. The tropical forests on which humanity and the global ecosystem depend are disappearing at an alarming rate. The project is located in the Kakamega region, which contains the Kakamega Rainforest, Kenya’s last remaining virgin forest. This rainforest is rich in biodiversity and is home to an immense variety of unique and endangered animals and plants. More than 400 species of birds have been found in the Kakamega. The northern part is protected and belongs to the Kakamega National Park.

Deforestation is the cause with the second-largest impact on climate change after fossil fuel burning. Since 1973, the island of Borneo has lost over 400,000 hectares (4,000 square kilometers) of its rainforest. Almost half of Borneo’s forest loss since 2000 has been due to palm oil plantations, for which rainforests across Indonesia have been destroyed.
